A Baton Rouge man is jailed on two counts of attempted second-degree murder after a double shooting in the capital city late Christmas Eve night.
Police arrested 24-year-old James McManus Jr. following the gunfire on Bluewater Drive that occurred during a domestic dispute. The two male victims, ages 22 and 14, suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
McManus told deputies he fired his weapon in self-defense.
