Animal welfare officials in West Baton Rouge Parish are asking for help after two horses were attacked by dogs.
The horses, named Mickey and Rocket, have already run up a $6,000 vet bill. Their condition was originally critical, but both are now expected to recover.
Anyone wanting to help with expenses is asked to contact to Humane Society of Louisiana.
