Testimony will resume today in the murder trial of a man accused of killing the man who molested his girlfriend between the time she was four and 13-years-old.
Opening statements were delivered yesterday in the case against Jace Crehan, who with help from his then-girlfriend Bittany Monk, killed Robert Noce Jr. in Zachary two years ago and stuffed his body into a plastic barrel.
The defense had sought the same manslaughter plea that Monk was allowed, but prosecutors refused and are seeking to have Crehan convicted of second-degree murder.
