While Christopher Columbus is nowhere to be found, near-exact replicas of two of his famous ships docked in Baton Rouge last night near the USS Kidd.
The Nina and the Pinta are on a ten-day Arkansas and Mississippi rivers trip that began in Oklahoma and will end in Biloxi.
The two vessels are used to educate children about Columbus' exploration of the world and his discovery of America.
