Federal Senior Judge Jim Brady is being remembered after his passing over the weekend. Chief Judge Brian Jackson tells The Advocate that the 73-year-old died Saturday evening after a brief illness.
Jackson said Brady had a remarkable career and will forever be known for his "extraordinary integrity."
Brady was well known for his settlement of the nearly 50-year-old East Baton Rouge Parish school desegregation case.
