The Louisiana Supreme Court is being asked to reinstate the abduction and rape convictions of Wilbert Jones
It was just two weeks ago that that the 64-year-old Jones went free in Baton Rouge after serving 46 years of a life term for raping a nurse in 1971.
A state judge ruled that prosecutors withheld evidence favorable to his defense, but Hillar Moore's office says such evidence was available to Jones' attorneys all along.
