(WBRZ News 2) BATON ROUGE- An 18-wheeler crashed and caught fire early this morning on I-10 East at Perkins Poad.
The accident took place around 4:45 Friday morning.
I-10 East at Perkins Road was temporarily closed, and traffic delays had reached the top of the Mississippi River Bridge. All lanes were eventually opened.
Hazmat was on the scene to investigate. The scene was deemed safe.
