The East Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff's Office headquarters is now empty after a pipe burst Wednesday and flooded the building.
A video posted on the EBRSO Facebook page showed the building stripped bare and numerous fans drying out empty rooms. A spokesperson tells WBRZ News 2 repairs could take months.
The sheriff's office says the public will be able to purchase criminal and traffic records starting Friday between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. at 222 St. Louis, 2nd Floor of the Governmental Building, inside the EBRSO Tax Office.
Anyone with questions concerning records should call 225-389-5002.
