A Baton Rouge police officer is facing charges related to the alleged filing of a false police report.
Michelle Patterson was arrested yesterday after officials say an internal investigation found that she never turned in a marijuana cigarette she had confiscated from a woman to the evidence room. and then altered her initial police report in an attempt to coverup that fact.
She's been placed on administrative leave.
