Drivers are on the road to cheaper gasoline prices in Baton Rouge.
AAA reports the metro-area average for regular has dropped to $2.16 a gallon, down two cents from last Monday. GasBuddy.com shows numerous locations with regular under $2 a gallon.
It was just a month ago that the fuel was averaging $2.30 a gallon having spiked significantly after Hurricane Harvey hit Texas and Louisiana.
