Animal activists want to prevent a truck stop owner of ever owning another big cat.
Tony the Tiger, who made his home at the Tiger Truck Stop in Grosse Tete, was put down this week when his kidneys failed. The Animal Legal Defense Fund says it's investigating Tony's death.
Owner Michael Sandlin says he wants to buy another truck stop tiger, but so far the state is telling him no.
