Truck Stop Owner Determined To Acquire Another Live Tiger

There's no end to the controversy surrounding a truck stop owner in Grosse Tete that's had a live tiger on display at his Tiger Truck Stop restaurant for 17 years.

Or, at least that was until he had the tiger named Tony euthanized this week because of medical problems. He's planning a memorial for Tony and to have him stuffed.

Despite strong opposition from animal rights groups, owner Michael Sandlin says he will attempt to obtain another live tiger to be caged as a roadside attraction.
