A special task force formed by the East Feliciana Sheriff's Office will be investigating a series of shootings that began several months ago that have left three people dead and a fourth injured.
Authorities have stopped short of calling the incidents the work of a "serial killer," but they are clearly working to determine if that's the case or not.
The latest of the four shootings occurred Monday morning when 48-year-old Brad DeFranceschi was found shot to death outside his home in Clinton.
