(WBRZ News 2) Task force agents spread across East Feliciana near the parish line with East Baton Rouge Wednesday and may have a big development in an on-going triple murder investigation.
“I'm very hopeful, that in a short while... we'll be able to [release] those developments,” the East Feliciana Parish Sheriff told WBRZ reporter Mark Armstrong around 4 o'clock Wednesday.
Travis seemed to be happy about the developments but said he could not discuss the situation further. More is expected to be released later Wednesday.
The task force has been hunting for suspects after a series of apparent random shootings killed three men and injured a fourth. The shootings started in July and most recently left a Boy Scout leader dead outside his home earlier this week.
