Mayor Holds "Call To Action" Meetings On Crime Fight

Baton Rouge is a city working to reduce its violent crime problem. Towards that end, Mayor-President Sharon Weston Broome held four "Call to Action" meetings at several area churches last night.

The capital city's homicide rate is closing in on 100 for the year.

The meetings were held to get public input that will help expand the city's crime fighting initiative going forward.
