Louisiana State Police say a woman is under arrest after a fatal hit-and-run.
Deana Collier of Sandersville, Mississippi was arrested early yesterday morning after the crash that claimed the life of Albert Watson of Denham Springs.
Police say just before 1:00 Sunday morning, Watson was driving on Interstate 12 when Collier allegedly hit him from behind and sent his car off the road before it hit a tree and flipped over. Police say Collier did not stop or call 9-1-1, but instead drove for a quarter mile before pulling over.
Collier was booked into the Tangipahoa Parish Jail on charges of vehicular homicide and felony hit-and-run.
