The mayor of Baton Rouge is calling for an end to violence in Louisiana's capital city and says it will take an effort by all residents to make that happen.
Sharon Weston Broome issued the statement yesterday after five separate shootings during the overnight hours left two people dead and four others injured.
The city had seen a brief break from gun violence after a spate of shootings earlier this month.
