The father of an LSU student believes the investigation into his son's disappearance has taken a backseat to homecoming activities at the Baton Rouge campus.
The dad has taken to Facebook in hopes of learning where 21-year-old Michael Nickelotte Jr. is.
Authorities believe he left campus on his own September 18th, possibly to harm himself, but left behind his cellphone, his wallet and his IDs. His car was found on campus.
