Accused Killer Of Two Black Men Asks To Be Taken Off Suicide Watch

The accused gunman in two possibly racially-motivated killings in Baton Rouge is asking to be taken off suicide watch.

WBRZ News 2 reports video showed Kenneth Gleason posing the question to a judge during a bond hearing yesterday. Judge Trudy White said she would look into the matter.

Gleason, who is white, is charged with the separate, random killings of two black men last week, Bruce Cofield on Tuesday and Donald Smart on Thursday.
