Hurricane Maria is pounding the U.S. territory of Puerto Rico right now, cutting power to thousands and ripping roofs off homes.
Her winds have again dropped slightly, but at 145 miles an hour, it's still an extremely dangerous Category 4 hurricane.
Maria is passing west-southwest of San Juan and moving to the northwest at 13 miles an hour. Forecasters at the National Hurricane Center say it will emerge off the northern coast of Puerto Rico by this afternoon.
The center will then pass just north of the Dominican Republic tonight and tomorrow.
