(WBRZ News 2) LSU police are investigating an on-campus fraternity house Thursday after an 18-year-old died in the hospital overnight.
The coroner's office has confirmed to WBRZ that 18-year-old Max Gruver of Roswell, Georgia was taken to a hospital from the Phi Delta Theta Fraternity house Wednesday night. He was later pronounced dead at the hospital.
"LSU officials are aware of an incident that occurred last night involving a fraternity," said Ernie Ballard, an LSU spokesperson. "LSU is currently investigating and will report as soon as more information is available."
District attorney Hillar Moore is on the scene as the LSU Police Department investigates.
