It's not a done deal just yet, but it appears that Warren Drake will remain in his post as superintendent of the East Baton Rouge Parish School District until June 2020.
The Advocate reports the school board will be tweaking a proposed two-year contract extension over the next couple of weeks. They'll revisit the matter on September 21st.
Some board members want more precise performance goals set that could boost Drake's pay by up to $20,000.
