Hurricane Jose continued to gain strength in the Atlantic Thursday and forecasters at the National Hurricane Center say it could the third major hurricane this season by Friday.
Jose's maximum winds could reach 125 miles per hour, which is category 3 strength.
The storm is no threat to land at this time, but the forecast track could bring Jose near islands already slammed by Hurricane Irma.
