Tropical Storm Jose continued to gain strength in the eastern Atlantic Tuesday afternoon and it could be a hurricane by Thursday.
While Jose is no threat to land at this time, it could be a double-punch for areas currently in the path of powerful Hurricane Irma.
Forecast models suggest Jose will eventually turn and not threaten the mainland United States.
