Shelters Open For Louisiana, Texas Storm Victims

Louisiana is not sitting idly by while local residents and those in Texas are out of their homes because of the flooding from Harvey.

Governor Edwards announced yesterday that because shelters in Lake Charles were reaching capacity, the state had opened a shelter in Alexandria.

Edwards traveled to the Louisiana-Texas border to meet with first responders dispatched to the area to take part in water rescues.
