Tropical Storm Harvey is moving in the the direction that will finally get it out of the Gulf of Mexico - but that's also caused watches and warnings to extend along the Louisiana coast.
A tropical storm warning now extends from the Texas coast to Morgan City and a tropical storm watch runs east of Morgan City to Grand Isle. A storm surge watch is also in effect from Port Bolivar, Texas to Morgan City.
Harvey is heading north-northeast at 5 miles an hour as of 10 a.m. Tuesday. It's expected to make a third landfall near the Louisiana/Texas border as you wake up on Wednesday.
A flash flood watch remains in effect for southeast Louisiana through Thursday night.
