Ascension Public Schools students will be dismissed early "due to weather impacts from Tropical Storm Harvey".
High schools and middle schools will dismiss at 12:30 p.m. with primary schools following at 1:30 p.m. School officials say they are timing the releases with an anticipated break in the weather.
All after school activities are also cancelled and a decision on whether school will be held Wednesday will be made Tuesday night.
