Zachary police are investigating the death of a woman whose body was discovered Saturday as a homicide.
Chief David McDavid says there are multiple crime scenes.
The woman's remains were discovered by a passerby near the intersection of Highway 19 and Zachary Road. Investigators weren't immediately certain if the victim died at the scene or if her body had been dumped there.
