The National Weather Service has extended a flash flood watch to include southeast Louisiana, including New Orleans and Baton Rouge.
The watch is in effect through Thursday night as rain associated with Tropical Storm Harvey continues to drift eastward.
The NWS says rainfall amounts of 5 to 10 inches with locally heavier amounts are possible.
