While Harvey continues to sit in and hammer Texas, the Sunday 4 p.m. updated track from the National Hurricane Center showed a shift in the projected track of the storm for later in the week.
While southeast Louisiana is not in the "cone of uncertainty", a move of Harvey slightly east later in the week could impact what our area sees in terms of rain from Harvey, as well as put more of southwest, central and north Louisiana in risk.
Harvey is forecast to make a slight dip towards the Gulf of Mexico over the next 48 hours, possibly moving over water again before making a second landfall in Texas, then turn northeast.
