Harvey Remains Tropical Depression Wed. Night

Harvey remained a tropical depression Wednesday night as it moved lazily towards the northeast.

It is expected to be a tropical storm by Thursday and reach hurricane strength Friday before landfall by Saturday night. After that, Harvey could linger for a few days, but models disagree if that will be inland or have the storm move back into the Gulf.

Louisiana remains outside of any watch or warning area, but the threat of heavy rains over the weekend remains.
