Judge Reverses Firing Of Former Scotlandville High Principal

A former Scotlandville High School principal is getting some satisfaction after a district court judge ruled Monday that he shouldn't have been fired.

Calvin Nicholas was terminated two years ago after he used a stick to break up a fight involving students.

East Baton Rouge Parish school officials gave him the boot, saying what he did amounted to corporal punishment, a violation of the school district's policy.
