East Baton Rouge Mayor-President Sharon Weston Broome is holding several planned meetings concerning a possible tax hike to improve roads and transportation.
Tonight's takes place from 6:00 to 7:30 at the Charles Kelly Community Center. She's looking for public input on the proposal to hike parish property tax five mills for 30 years.
A vote on the issue is planned for this fall.
