Yet another road project is just months away from beginning that is sure to make travel on parts of I-10 worst before it gets better.
Transportation officials say work will start early next year toward widening I-10 into three lanes both ways from East Baton Rouge Parish into Ascension Parish.
The project is expected to cost in the ballpark of $72 million and take two-and-a-half-years to complete.
