The driver of an 18-wheeler is dead after someone opened fire after robbing him while he was stopped to repair a tire in Baton Rouge.
Police say 49-year-old Keith Odom of Jonesborough, Tennessee died at a hospital shortly after the shooting yesterday morning in the parking lot of a shopping center on Florida Boulevard.
Investigators say Odom turned over his possessions to the robber, but was shot anyway.
