Efforts are continuing by some to ban smoking in Baton Rouge's bars and casinos.
The Metro Council is expected to take up the issue again tomorrow. This time around, council member Matt Watson is proposing amendments to have the ban enforced by police rather than firefighters and to make clear what is expected of owners of the impacted businesses.
The owners would also be given until June of next year to go smoke-free.
