As expected, Tropical Depression Four weakened into a tropical wave Friday afternoon.
"Satellite data and surface observations indicate that the depression no longer has a closed circulation, and the cyclone has degenerated into a tropical wave. Showers associated with the system have continued to diminish and remain disorganized," read part of the final advisory on the system from the National Hurricane Center.
The remnants will continue to move towards an area that is not favorable for the low to regenerate.
