A dozen Baton Rouge public schools are getting federal money for the recovery effort after the August 2016 floods.

The East Baton Rouge Parish School Board announced yesterday that it is getting more than $6 million toward infrastructure work to 12 elementary, middle and high schools inundated by the disaster last summer.

Four district administrative buildings are also being helped with the funding.
