Of Interest To You: Restore Louisiana Update

WJBO Newsradio's Jeremy Poursine gets an update on the Restore Louisiana Homeowner Assistance Program from Pat Forbes, executive director of the Office of Community Development and also speaks with Kim Skelton, the first homeowner assisted by the program.

Officials encourage homeowners to complete the survey if they were impacted by last year's historic floods in Louisiana, even if they believe they may not be eligible for aid.

The survey can be filled out at restore.la.gov or by calling (866) 735-2001 Monday through Saturday between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m. Residents who need assistance and would like to visit a case manager can also call that number to schedule an appointment at the Baton Rouge housing assistance center located at Oak Tree Building at Celtic Studio.
