Tropical Storm Cindy is leading heavy rains along the Gulf Coast and officials warn that flash flooding and tornadoes are still a threat.
The storm made landfall early this morning near the Texas-Louisiana border with as much as 15 inches of rain expected in some areas.
The storm already claimed the life of a 10-year-old boy in Alabama yesterday.
A flash flood watch remains in effect through Thursday night.
Cindy is expected to turn northeast as it moves inland and Tennessee is already bracing for flooding.
