Folks in West Baton Rouge Parish are being warned about mosquitoes in the area that could be carrying the West Nile virus.
Some infected mosquitoes have been discovered near Highway 415 and Kahns Road.
The director of West Baton Rouge Mosquito Control tells WBRZ News 2 that the virus has shown up sooner than expected this year.
Three of around 100 samples tested positive for West Nile.
