A new location could bring new life to a facility city officials agree is languishing and limping along.
BREC Commissioners last night discussed a proposal to move the Baton Rouge Zoo from North Baton Rouge to South Baton Rouge.
BREC Superintendent Carolyn McKnight wants the zoo to become part of a revitalized Greenwood Park that would include amusement parks and sports fields.
Commissioner Becky Bond, though, wants the zoo to stay where it is, and now you can weigh in by responding to an online survey at BREC.org.
