Loved ones of a murdered woman are a step closer to possibly getting justice.
A judge Tuesday in Baton Rouge set a trial date for the man accused of killing Taylor Latham and kidnapping her two-year-old daughter two years ago. Curtis King's trial will start in November.
He's accused of shooting Latham to death in her car and taking the baby before leaving her at a women's shelter.
