Two of the most recognizable people in town are joining forces to help flood victims.
Governor John Bel Edwards and LSU football coach Ed Orgeron are working to raise awareness about the financial aid available to victims from last year's flood.
Orgeron will be featured in some upcoming TV and radio ads encouraging homeowners to apply for aid.
The coach tweeted Thursday he's proud to work with the governor's office to help the people of Louisiana and added, 'One Team, One Heartbeat! GEAUX TIGERS'.
