Teen clothing retailer rue21 is closing stores as it appears headed toward bankruptcy, including one in Baton Rouge.
The Pittsburgh Business Times puts the number of closures at 400, or about a third of all rue21's locations.
Customers can find out if their local store is closing by checking it under find a store on the company's website.
There are 36 rue21 locations in Louisiana. Of the three in Baton Rouge, the rue21 in the Siegen Lane Marketplace is designated as a "closing store".
Online sales will not be affected.
rue21 has been attempting a turnaround since a management shakeup last fall.
