A new poll shows a majority of folks in Louisiana are in favor of providing workplace protections for transgender people.
LSU's 2017 Louisiana Survey reveals that 70% of state residents consider there should be workplace protections for transgender people.
On the flip side, the survey also shows nearly 60% of those interviewed agree transgender people should use public bathrooms designated for the person's birth gender.
