The man convicted in the death of former Saints player Will Smith is suing Smith's widow.
Attorneys for Cardell Hayes have filed a civil suit, asking for compensation for "property damage, medical expenses, lost wages and mental anguish."
Hayes was convicted of manslaughter and attempted manslaughter in the shooting of Will and Racquel Smith during a road rage incident almost one year ago.
