A new study shows new Orleans is one of the top 25 cities in which mail carriers are bitten by dogs.
U.S. Postal Safety Director Linda DeCarlo said more than 6700 postal employees across the country were bitten by a dog last year. DeCarlo says new Orleans is 24th on the list.
Los Angeles is number one on the list followed by Houston, Cleveland, San Diego and Louisville.
This week is National Dog Bite Prevention Week.
