Dozens of new state troopers are ready for public service after graduating from a 22-week police academy training program.
The 64 graduating cadets were welcomed by family and friends during yesterday's ceremony held at the BREC Independence Park Theater in Baton Rouge.
The grads will now be spread around the state joining nine different troops for ten more weeks of supervised hands-on field training.
