Former Louisiana Congressman John Fleming is joining the Trump administration.
Fleming announced Monday he will be a deputy assistant secretary for health technology within the Department of Health and Human Services. He says his job will be to help physicians use technology to practice medicine.
Fleming is a Republican from Minden who missed the runoff last fall in the race to succeed Senator David Vitter.
